What the %#*# is a 'Fu', you ask? Well, for starters, it's pronounced "foo", and, it's not an acronym for "F***You". You in the back, yeah, you... wearing the propeller beanie... you can stop chuckling now. As for exactly what it means, well... let's just say that sometimes the mysterious, unseen inner workings of the universe have a compelling and enigmatic charm precisely because they are just that: an enigma.

To quote the philosopher/poet/warrior king, Pee Wee Herman... "Dotty, there are things about me you wouldn't understand... things you couldn't understand... things you shouldn't understand. I'm a loner and a rebel, Dotty." For those of you who still aren't satisfied, all will be revealed at midnight on the third full moon of our 9th anniversary at an undisclosed location in what we cautiously whisper to ourselves as "The-Ritual-Without-Name" for fear of summoning the beast who can only be appeased by spilling the blood of no less than 3 blocks of firm tofu...

The mysteries of the universe not withstanding, Joey, David, and Matt can take care of all your tattooing needs, as Fu's is open 7 days a week. We welcome walk-ins whenever we're available for them, but it's generally much better for everyone involved if you can swing by for a quick consultation and to schedule an appointment with us.

Custom work is our specialty and first love, but we have a vast collection of flash designs to choose from if you prefer. Speaking of which, while you're perusing our online galleries, please be respectful of the rights of others to have original, one-of-a-kind tattoo work. These photos are meant to give you an idea of what we're capable of, only an A**hole would download these pics and take them to another tattooist and ask him to duplicate them; besides, any self-respecting tattooist would refuse to do that anyway. I know, you're cool, and wouldn't ever do that, but we had to say it for those 'other' people!

One final note, when you come see us for some KICK ASS tattoo work especially those out-of-towners who have to drive great distances to see us... keep in mind that our studio, while a clean, friendly and spacious environment, is a place for adults only. We love kids, but for various reasons, our tattoo shop is not a place for children. If you can't find a sitter, maybe your significant other can take 'em somewhere nice while you're getting your work done. There's a great science museum/planetarium/omnimax theater within walking distance of our place, and our proximity to I-277 means you're just a short drive from all the nice restaurants and shopping the city has to offer.
